At the beach now. very slow internet I type a sentence and then wait for 2 minutes as I watch the words slowly appear. Have to go now. Time to go swimming.
How's the beach? Hot? It's cold here. Just got done baking two and a half apple pie's for thanksgiving. We're going to Deane's house with Mom and Dad (he's a friend of the CM family)
Way cool!! I want to be there! Any monster jellyfish? Jaws? Catch your own fish have some mondo fish tacos and a few Pacificos. Is there any kayaking? I know...too many questions eh?

Leave early monday for Nawlins, taking the Dave and Joe show on the road. If not mugged or arrested, back the following monday. Hope to enjoy barbecued jumbo shrimp, beingets, and cafe au lait and maybe some po-boys too.
We missed you both on Thanksgiving yesterday! There was more food than I have ever seen in one location in my lifetime including two turkeys, one smoked and one traditional. Darin's pies were a huge hit and Maria made quiche with potato rather than flour crust which was beautiful and delicious. It was all so good and people were fun. There was also a 15 week old Shar pei - oh man was she ever cute. I would really love to give someone a puppy for Christmas just so we can play with it on Christmas day. Deane and Erika have two orchestra grand pianos in their living room!!!!! As you know we are having Thanksgiving again tomorrow; however, that will be a lighter version of it. I have what looks to be a good recipe for a vegetarian gravy using portobello or shitake mushrooms that I am going to try. I'm going downtown today to put myself in the mood for the season. It's really getting cold here but with sunny clear skies. Great holiday weather but I think we would all rather be down there with you two. Love,mom
